Although the pick up process took a little long, it was because Dollar was closed. Thrifty was helping out and were backed up. However, the workers were very responsive and still dealing with smiles. The car I was given was a Honda HRV and it was perfect for the trip
The rental car was excellent. However the lack of reliable communication between economy booking and the rental car supplier created problems. In our case they had no record of our having purchased the insurance. They also wanted to add a surcharge since I am 24 years of age. We had done all of this online with economy bookings but the rental car company had no record of it. I recommend that you bring all your documentation to show what you did online. Once we did that everything was smooth sailing.
Your employee working the counter when I picked up the car was VERY helpful and friendly. I greatly appreciate that he stayed just a bit late to allow not only myself but at least one other family to pick up their reserved vehicle when our flight was delayed. Him being there is a strong contributor to my positive rating.

I was worried when I I was sent an invoice that said the payment address for the invoice was in Latvia. I had paid in advance before knowing that. But everything worked out fine. I picked up the car (at the BWI airport) and I didn’t have to pay anything at the pickup. (The amount that I had already paid in advance, $135, covered everything which was really cheap for a week rental. Car was as described in excellent and clean condition, supplied by Thrifty. I was a bit surprised at how well everything worked out and totally satisfied. Excellent experience.
