Everything was seamless when I arrived at the Thrifty/Dollar rental counter at Houston Intercontinental... got upgraded to a great SUV with Sirius/XM. Staff at the car rental pick-up and return site were so very helpful and professional. Knowing Houston freeways I opted for the additional collision insurance, pre-paid gas and pre-paid tolls. The insurance and gas options were a good move...the pre-paid tolls... not so much. All in all, maybe a little pricey with the options I selected but it gave me peace-of-mind on the freeways. Hey, I| d do the same thing again without pre-paying for the tolls.
Staff were very nice, but had their hands tied when they didn| t have cars available for MANY people who had reservations.

Pick up point for the shuttle was far as my gate was in Terminal E and had to walk to C. Shuttle also took a long time to come for pick up. Once I reached the location it was better than expected, staff were friendly and helpful the entire process was very smooth and efficient.
Sayyad went above and beyond to help us get a car on the eclipse weekend, when car rentals were hard to come by all over the city. We can| t speak highly enough of his great service, professionalism, and kindness. Without his help we would have been stranded in Houston. Highly recommended!
I was a little uncomfortable at the beginning because there was not in person staff but the virtual interaction with Jesus was very good. He explained everything very well and helped me with all the process. I was happy to get an upgrade! The return was easy. I am very satisfied with my first rental with this company.
