Good and right sized (not big or bulky) vehicle with 4 wheel drive which is a must for winter driving Good fuel economy as you do a good bit of driving to spots in Iceland. Helpful staff and easy pickup and drop off from airport.
I rented a Toyota Yaris and it was clean and in good condition. The staff was very helpful and even brought us a forgotten bag to the airport. I had a great experience and would recommend renting from this company.
Nothing negative to say at all. However, if the weather is bad then a renter might get wet waiting for the pick up coach to get you back to the airport. Might be an idea for the company to have a desk in the actual airport terminal as well.

The upside here is that I| m always a little leery of the economy car rental places as they tend to nickel and dime on damage and the like. I was grateful that this wasn| t the case with Dollar. (Although we had absolutely no added damage so who knows what might| ve happened with a nick or a dent, but someone told me that in Iceland they| re more forgiving on that since there are so many gravel roads.) Ultimately we had no major issues and everything went better than I| ve sometimes experienced with lower cost car rentals.

Easy pickup once at the rental site. Car was in good shape and drove super smooth. The agent that helped me was very informative as well. Dropping the car off took only a few minutes and then I immediately got a ride back to the aiport.
I was stuck at the airport waiting on a public bus that runs every hour, or a $40 tourist bus. I opted to rent a car last minute through Economy Bookings, and I| m so glad I did. The staff were incredibly helpful and set me up with a nice economy car within 20 min. They gave some great advice with regard to driving in Iceland, and I| m so grateful I chose to take a car out through the country.
We had a wonderful experience with Flizzr car rental company in Iceland. After a short bus ride from the terminal, we pick up the car at Sixt| s building . The whole process was quick and when the agent learned that we can drive a manual car, she upgrade our rental to a 4x4 which we later found was a huge plus when driving on some of the un-paved roads around Iceland. The car we got was clean and well maintained. It uses diesel which can be found at any gas station using the black pump. The agent also showed as the necessary apps we need to download to make our driving and parking in Iceland safe and easy. The return process was easy as well without any delay. We walked to the airport terminal this time which is only five minutes away. We highly recommend Flizzr!

Although not required. Due to my mobility issues their shuttle driver took me to my near by hotel and not just the airport drop off area. This was not expected but sincerely appreciated. Good on them. They went above and beyond to help me out.
