The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They changed times and pickup locations at the last minute for us. They came and met us at the ferry terminal when we got in later than expected. We would use Thrifty again.

Loved the help of the staff! Were very accommodation to my broken Spanish and super helpful on the functions of the car and the apps used primarily in the country. They open at 9am so you have to call them when you arrive at the airport so they can come get you in their big blue shuttle bus. It is not attached to the mvd airport but they are 5min shuttle away. Very easy process to get the car! Make sure you have an embossed credit card for the deposit and if you| re international an INTL Drivers license. When you drop the car off they will square up all the toll fees with you (they are automatically attached to the rental license plate - so no need to manually pay) then they drive you right to the airport! Very great service! I was very pleased! Thank you Punta Rental!
Price was right. Car was perfectly fine for driving. Tire pressure light went on, added air to all tires, wouldn’t go off. If we could read spanish, the manual probably told us how to turn it off. We lived with it.
Everything went fine, car was in great condition, gas efficient, clean. Be prepared for manual transmission and crazy traffic.
