Midsize Car Rental in San Juan

I think we have the best service from this dealer. We appreciate very much the service and courtesy of the company members. Congratulation!!!!! I do have a concern about the $300.00. I do not received that amount back yet. Keep the good work!!!

I booked an SUV, through Economy Bookings, with Charlie Car Rental, which I gather is affiliated with ACE. The service was great. I called the office when we were at baggage claim and they told me where to get the bus, which arrived within about 10 after we reached the platform. It was a short ride to the office. There were several people picking up cars, so we had to wait a few minutes, but we were in our car and on the way to Old San Juan in about 30 minutes. I had an issue with our State Farm insurance because, even though we are both covered, only my wife| s name was on the insurance card. They told me that if I could get some kind of proof from SF that I was covered, they could use my insurance (which would save me quite a bit of money). The next day I called my SF agent and they emailed me a document with my name added to the insurance. I drove back to Charlie| s, they did the necessary paperwork and I was out the door in about 15 minutes. They were very friendly, very helpful, very professional. The drop off, even though it was very busy, was easy, and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for the next bus to the airport. Anyway, my experience was great. I would definitely use them again if we return to PR.

Car was clean and had a full tank. Little wait at counter but expected as many flights had just arrived. Location was very close and was on the road quickly. Drop off was lighting fast and person checking us in was helpful in guiding us the right direction for departures.

I purchased the car insurance from booking.com for nothing the rental company didn’t accept it, I requested a refund and have not heard from booking.com for a refund. Not good business practice. Don’t buy extra insurance from them.

We rented a car for one day to go to El Yunque. It was really cheap! 45$ total with extra insurance. The staff was amazing, friendly, courteous but efficient. I would highly recommend, and I have a LOT of experiences with rental companies.
