The pick up and (especially) the drop off were easy. The staff were really pleasant. (The walk to the counter was quite a distance, having nothing to do with Thrifty, but unfortunate.) The price was the best available to me.
I accidently booked the correct dates, but wrong month. I called Economy Bookings while at the airport and they were able to fix it for me fairly quickly. I appreciate it!
The gentleman that waited on me at Thrifty Car Rental was excellent; knew what he was doing, and made my experience worry free. After all, I was traveling alone and with all the paper shuffling and had to do to get there, things could easily go wrong; but they didn| t thanks Thrifty, Kudos to that man and the staff at THRIFTY CAR RENTAL, PDX.
Initially I was set up with a Kia. Its rear window mechanism broke near the airport, however, when I rolled down the window to remove condensation. Thrifty swiftly set me up with a replacement car, a Chevy Malibu that got great mileage (36 mpg average) and held our family of four comfortably.
While we were told this was an upgrade, the car felt smaller than what we booked.
Booking process online was very easy. After booking, I realized I made a mistake on the return date. I called the customer service number and the agent took care of the change without any hassle or charge.
I can| t complain about any part of the experience. And the Kia Soul was so much fun to drive, the perfect size for 4 adults and very comfortable. Easy to get into and out of, pickup and dropoff.
