In Greece the petrol station fill your car for you, we asked for Diesel, the petrol cap stated Diesel and was filled with unleaded. Car broke down. Within 20 minutes of calling the car was collected by breakdown service and another 30. minutes a new car was delivered. We were scared about the charges but it was handled so professionally.
Economy bookings was very reasonable and the economy bookings phone staff were very helpful when I had to call to ask for help in using my voucher- I had had to postpone an earlier trip. The car rental staff were very helpful and thorough with the initial and final inspection in noting the many minor damages to the car on pick up. The car was diesel and very economical.
The Green Motion team in at Chania airport were very friendly and helpful, especially George who had a great sense of humour, and there zero issues picking up or returning the car. We would use them again without hesitation
They were good but it was written that they get a full tank of gas and there was only a quarter. I went back to the office and they fixed it.
Michael and his team were very efficient. Meeting us at the airport when we arrived. Then bring up very early in the morning to meet us when we dropped the car off. The car was lovely and clean and in very good condition.

I was delighted with this booking experience and would use Drive Hellas again; the car was not in perfect condition, but it drove really well and we had plenty of opportunity to photograph and film any imperfections before we drove away. We had a great experience with Royal Rentals at Chania airport. The office was about a 5 minute walk from the airport and easily located following instructions on the email. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman on reception. I have previously experienced car rental companies ask for additional fees/insurance on pick-up, so I was pleasantly surprised to only be asked for the exact fee stated on the booking, alongside the security deposit. We were given a brand new car with SatNav etc which wasn’t the same model but same group of car and was perfect for what we needed- although I would say it was not very powerful but this wasn’t a huge issue. My only query was the fuel policy as I’m sure I selected full-to-full not same-to-same but it was nearly full so not an issue on return. We had an issue with the battery on our third day, Royal Rentals immediately sent out a mechanic to us and it was rectified swiftly- no charges, no hassle. On the second to last day I realised we needed the car for an extra hour so I emailed and this was arranged quickly with no extra charge. On return, no issues and my security deposit was back on my credit card by the time I got through security. All in all an excellent service and I would definitely recommend. Thank you.

The registration and collection process at Chania airport was quick and pleasant. The car was exactly the car I ordered and it goes without saying, I got what I ordered. The car was in excellent condition, new (a little more than 5,000 km!!!) kept and clean, without the smell of cigarettes (!) In my opinion, the rental company should add a section in the selection of the vehicle, a vehicle for smokers and a vehicle for non-smokers. The delivery at the field was excellent, the location contributed to the experience because Sixt| s agency is right across the road from the terminal and you don| t have to wait for an hour or worry about a taxi. Personally, I prefer the big and well-known companies because of their layout and their ability to provide solutions even though they are usually more bureaucratic than the small and unknown companies.
Everything went smooth. The staff was exceedingly nice - only Cretan people can be like this with 2 young children screaming and making noise whilst they were working. But instead of being upset they joked with my children and offered them toys. I was SO impressed. Recommended to everyone

It was an older car but perfectly suitable and the guy at checkout very helpful regarding extending hire times for a reasonable charge. I picked a quiet time to collect the vehicle and it was a relatively stress free experience.
The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful to make sure you’re taken care of efficiently.
Everything as advertised. Great value. They helped with an extra request I had and delivered on it.
