Midsize Car Rental in Alicante

The extra cover for insurance waiver that I was sold (fairly hard sold) by lovely lady at the car hire office was expensive at 19 euros a day.

Pick up was quick in comparison to summer but there were less people waiting to collect. Car was clean, well spec’d. Very quick drop off and check. Very happy overall

The plane was delayed 1 hour then we had to wait about 45minutes to clear customs. As I arrived about 1.75 hours later than planned just before midnight the lady at the desk almost gave up on me and went home. 1 more minute and she| d have gone. Not sure where I| d have stood if the desk would have been closed? Would I have lost my prepayment?

Picked up by shuttle bus. Only a few minutes to wait. All staff were pleasant and engaged. An absolute pleasure, with no hard sell and english well spoken. Got exactly the car I booked and there range was good.
