Valencia, Spain visit was for conference and also to visit couple of more places and know the Europe. I made international driving license ($20) before travelling. If doing international bookings like this, you need WhatsApp set up so that you could complete couple of legal documents before you pick up the car. The price per day was surprising, $7/day (manual) and $11/day (auto transmission). I did purchase the insurance also while booking ($189 for 7 days). Initially booked Toyota Rav4 but I received Toyota C-HR (hybrid) which I knew before pick up. Even there was change on the car, that was perfect as parking in Spain was crazy and small size is even better. Before pick up, the Voyage Rental called me and asked to buy more coverage with deposit $200. Without buying that coverage, the deposit would be otherwise $1200. I thought to buy more insurance just to be on safe side as they mentioned about vandalism and other things. Parking was not that expensive or was free in Castellón de la Plana, Spain. When I returned car, I didn| t have time to refill and with full tank, I may have ride about 30 KM but I think they charged full tank price. My total cost came around $500 for 7 days. Fuel in Spain was really expensive about Euro 1.62/L = $7.2/Gal. You should be good in parking vehicle really well as it was not that wider as here in the US. There are trains available and you may not need to rent a car. Depending on the advance train ticketing, this will be way cheaper than renting car. I hope this helps for other renters.
