very easy to book . good communication on arrival, only downside is a charge of £40 for out of hours pick up ,never come across this before, although it was the 1st time i have arrived in spain at this time (11pm) ,but overall happy with booking and car i had with onboard sat nav which was excellent

One of the best car rental experiences I’ve had in a very long time. It’s good to be pleasantly surprised when things like this go extremely smooth and easy, and when it comes to renting a car, you don’t always have such a positive experience.
Everything went very smoothly. Only thing that surprised us was that the company held £1200 as excess when we arrived, as we didn’t take insurance cover out with them - we already had it via economy bookings via a different insurance supplier. That wasn’t made clear when booking, but we luckily had the funds to cover it.
They did in fact give me a decent car, albeit very basic but good, the first one they offered was awful, old and stank from smoking. And in mid-August, that is the best they can do, so thank you.
Staff was very helpful. They provided all required information for renting and there weren’t any hidden fees. I recommend to take full coverage from them. In that case no deposits are needed and you can drop your car off without any issues.
It’s was the car it was the shock when I thought I was paying the €14 off the rest of the deposit and then to use my Visa card that was bumped up to €306 local charges and € 155 deposit for petrol which I haven’t had back . I returned the car full and I’ve took a photo in the airport for proof and also the receipt was left in the car . Is there a time scale for my deposit back

We| ve used this company and general location numerous times so know where it is, nice and convenient with the location near the airport and shuttle service pretty regular with someone on hand at the airport to navigate those arriving to ensure you don| t get lost in all the numbers of people waiting for their shuttle services. Vehicle was generally pretty clean and only a few scratches visible externally (but nothing noted on the paperwork! Photos to prove just in case).
RecordGo are good in their efficiency, location in airport and speed of service. They are outstanding that they have a 4cm scratch tolerance for damage
