Excellent service. Our return flight was cancelled and we were able to continue with our car rental to drive up to Christchurch. The staff went out of their way to help. Only negative was that the conditions of the hire from Economy Bookings was not clear on insurance cover and not in alignment with Hertz insurance cover.
The night shift uncle was very helpful as I thought i will pick the car from the airport. But he managed to arrange shuttle. Thanks
Car was brilliant. It was only just retuerned, but the cleaning Guy was bloody quick tō have it ready for us. Also the amount of cars that were being brought back in, I though the team were gandling the stress very well. Good work. Will use again.
Everything was fine, except when I had to change my plans due to a family health emergency.
Due to unexpected flight delays, we arrived 30 minutes after branch normal closing time to collect our rental. Having been in contact with the branch, we were assured someone would still be there to look after us - and they were! The helpful and friendly staff took the stress out of a difficult situation, and we were on our way within minutes. Fantastic service.
Easy to book and competitive in price. Also it was easy to pick up and drop off at the airport. We were upgraded to a SUV which was advantageous during our trip.
We hired the surprise car and it was a surprise it was a Suzuki Ignis. It was economical on fuel and got us round.
We were issued with a Near New Ford Puma Hybrid car with around 2000 kms on it, so Basically Brand New. It was very pleasant to drive and the Dash GPS System was FANTASTIC and really suited our time in Dunedin. Overall, we were very pleased with the car and it was super cheap to run in the city limits, basically it only cost us $50 in fuel, on the 3 trips out to the airport and back, over our weeks stay.

Next time I would make sure I was booking directly with the rental company not with an overseas booking company.... So much cheaper to deal direct but did not realise until after booking. Once I realised it was to hard to cancel the booking as it looked like you could only get a credit to use later and not a complete refund to your account. When I become aware of this I rang the rental company to make sure that they had our rental details etc and was assured that the rental would go ahead as usual. As we had purchased insurance with Economy Booking, Ace rentals would bill us for any accident claim and we would have to claim through Economy Bookings to get our monies back. So pleased nothing happened while we had the vehicle...
Very friendly and helpful staff who manages to help squeeze in 6 luggages in the smallest category car.
