Off-airport car rentals can be tricky, due to inconvenience of pick-up and drop-off. They organized a shuttle from airport all the way (25km?) to a downtown Dunedin hotel, where we picked up the car. Very clean Toyota RAV4 in great condition. No problems at all—and 50% of the price of other rental car offers!
The person who booked us in. Went out in the dark and dawn and brought our car over bear the rental building which is not allowed at Dunedin airport
