Look for someone holding up the car rental sign outside of the airport to bring you to the rental counter in a car about 5 minutes away.

I can honestly say that choosing Green Motion was a very good decision. At first, I was worried that because of their attractive online prices (compared to the well-known multinational car rental companies), they might try to charge some extra fees upon pickup — but that wasn’t the case at all. They also immediately told me not to worry about cleaning the car before returning it, as they would take care of that themselves. The staff were very friendly. All in all, I highly recommend them!

You| re required to take the mandatory liability insurance from all car rental agencies in Costa Rica which is about $24 USD per day. Ensure you contact you credit card company and bring your letter with proof of insurance, otherwise you| ll be required to take their car insurance which is quite pricey.
Booked with Avis Liberia airport. Unbelievable service… the shuttle picked us up within minutes of arriving. 10 mins to sign the documents, then out with our rental. Car was beautiful and brand new. Same process on the way back. Highly recommend Avis Liberia if you are renting a car
All round excellent experience. The member of staff at pickup office particularly stands out as excellent. He gave us great driving advice /guidance and even a place to stay on our journey, which we did and it was one of our highlights of the trip.

Great cars at a great price. Make sure to bring your bank letter confirming your Auto Rental Coverage through your credit card so you don’t have to pay for the theft and collision damage.
The van we ended up with was excellent to drive and for touring in Costa Rica. It helped to drive around some others friends we vacationed with. We tried to make the experience positive, fortunately we did not really need the vehicle that much do to our where we stayed, the city of Quepos was mostly walkable.
Nelson was incredibly efficient and helpful while getting me checked in. The airport pickup was seamless, and the car was a great value. I had no problems whatsoever, but they offer roadside assistance if anything does occur.
