The process with Economy was smooth and the car was within the range I rented. The car was dirty (because it was just returned and had not gotten cleaned) but I had insisted on a 4WD or AWD because of the snow and ice.

I have to admit that in the heat of holiday planning I booked my car only a few days before the pick-up date and therefore didn| t check the reviews beforehand. I only did that after booking (I booked and paid upfront via EconomyBookings) and as a result I was stressed for the rest of my holiday, due to mostly terrible reviews. Unnecessarily, as it turnes out. To the point. I have seen other reviews and many of them have quite bad, similar situations described. My experience was quite different though, and actually nothing short of perfect. And I say this very conciously. I picked the car up on Sunday evening and returned it exactly one week later. There was absolutely zero queue on both these days (it doesn| t matter by return, though). The man at the counter was very kind, explained everything, DID NOT TRY TO PUSH ANY EXTRAS (insurance or whatever) as it so often happens at rental companies. We got a brand new Rav4 Hybrid, even though we chose the cheapest option available when we were booking. It was basically new car, I think it had 400 miles on it. It was Hertz fleet, by the way, I don| t know how these companies cooperate. Upon return everything went smooth, we left the keys in the car, a guy at the parking lot acknowledged it and we were off. Some days later we got bill for tolls, as expected, but no extra scam-like charges or anything. If I tried I couldn| t find anything bad to say about them. If I ever book a car again, I want it to be the same experience. I highly recommend Thrifty based on my experience.

The car being brand new, it had a different way of getting in action. Once shown how to operate the car, by staff, it became ease to drive.

I requested an optional vehicle in class I was originally assigned as the Kia Soul is too small. I absolutely fell in love with the VW Tiguan and am pleased to see Dollar, Thrifty, Hertz maintain a newer fleet. The combined counter can be confusing for some and the staff is usually unfriendly and unprofessional but these gentleman set a new standard in professionalism for the brand.
The overall experience with the car, KIA NIRO, is great. The staff, from check in to bus access to and from the terminal was painless.
My only complaint was the accuracy of the information on the website. Hours were wrong, and when I called, they couldn| t provide accurate information.
