Rented with europcar. I understand that the pickup is very stressful part of the process - Our Pickup was very smooth. Of course doing your homework is key. The lady at the counter was very clear, upfront and professional. As we declined cwd and used our credit card insurance, they strongly recommend taking pictures and video at pickup and dropoff. For your piece of mind do it!! At dropoff, gentleman quickly reviewed pickup docs, looked at car and quickly signed off. Car was what we asked for, great on gas. A very satisfactory experience.

We where held up in Faro airport for nearly 2 hours by somebody on a power trip in passport control, we left expecting to have to catch a taxi to Albufiera without the hire car but there was the guy waiting for us in the minibus who promptly loaded our luggage and got us there before closing, once there we were processed by friendly staff and upgraded very quickly and on our way to our destination. On return we found the place on Google maps with no problem, drove in and was processed quickly again by friendly staff and on to the minibus for the 5-10 min journey to Faro airport. Will definitely use “Drive on holidays” again on our next trip to Portugal.

Air Auto provided exactly what I ordered. Very clean car with virtually no damage. Very quick transfers from and to the airport .Friendly and helpful staff who all spoke very good English. No high pressure to buy the excess insurance as I told them I have my own. An excellent care hire company and I will most definitely use again on my next trip to Faro.
