Got a more powerful, larger car than I| d reserved - good for going up and down Kefalonia| s mountains. Very friendly, native English-speaking staff member assisted me. the Car hire places are actually outside the airport gates in Kefalonia, they are easy to find and walk to as its such a small airport. The guys at our rental desk were quick and efficient and didn| t try any gard sell additional insurance. I buy an annual excess car hire policy anyway its much cheaper. Can was almost new Skoda, the most gutless thing I| ve ever driven but it did the job of carrying 4 of us and our luggage around. overall - great for the price.
The reason or the delay in picking up was because there was 2 particularly awkward customers in front of us. No fault of the car hire staff.
