The booking process was fast. When we got to the counter, they did not have the car we have rented but they gave us an even better almost new one with all the extras and gas saver. We were surprised by the gas mileage that it made. The rep at the counter was very nice and helpful. He gave us tips to stay safe in the city which we appreciated. In general, our experience was excellent with Economy bookings and Thrifty.

The young lady at the desk at the Oakland airport was extremely helpful. She even walked with me to show me where my car was located. Upon drop off the young gentleman that took the keys for me was also very helpful and showed me exactly where to go to get to the shuttle bus.
Car rental was fairly easy for me. Be sure to bring the credit card you booked with to put in the machine. Other customers did not bring the card they booked with and it slowed their pickup considerably.
The lady that checked us in also drove us to the terminal so we did not have to wait around. She was very polite and helpful. I just regret that I do not remember her name but she had been working for Dollar for 25 years.

Economy booking is a great place to rent an car. Oakland airport had a minor delay in instructing me how to return the vehicle, such as where to stop and whether or not to leave the keys in the car or to give it to an attendant. There was no attendant at the return center and no directions as to where to stop the car.
