We were delayed at the Sydney airport and I wasn’t going to make it to the rental place so I had to apply on line. I ended up only paying $200+ for insurance and had to get the car because there was no way of contacting the company as it was in New Zealand. The people at the desk were very helpful.

The only hassle - It was a French car !! Peugeot . No Aussie ought have to drive this sort of vehicle with everything opposite and even the attendant could not find the USB port for the Tom Tom. Never this make again for me. gary
