It was a bit disappointing to be charged in Euro and given 2 different $ Also it was not clearly stated that the comprehensive insurance cost was not with the actual hire Co and we would still have to pay and then negotiate with you to get our money back
The terms relating to the insurance charges were not as i understood when booking . When we picked up the car it seemed the deal we made to rent the car was through a 3rd party booking agency and the staff at the pick up point new nothing of the package the booking agency sold us as they were charging extra for road side service that was included and the deal with the insurance was not what was sold to us . The staff at the pick up point said they did not know what the booking agent had told us but to have the car we had to pay another $300 plus , we were not happy .
The staff were so helpful explaining about the road closure on the Captain Cook Highway and giving us an alternative route
The car was clean inside and I| m glad I got the model I booked. On drop off was waiting on a big queue in the office and a man who worked there who saw me drop the car off came inside and said if your dropping off the car come with me so I didn| t have to waste time in the queue which was excellent.
