I was a bit concerned when I saw that East Coast car rental was not at the airport, although it was 5 mins away, pick up and drop off was very easy and quick, excellent service.

Communication was excellent. We knew exactly what we needed to do to arrange pick up and drop off and terms of rental were clearly explained and options offered. Pick up and drop off were organised quickly.
It was the cheapest car rental in Launceston, the car was clean (minor scratches as expected on a hire car). The staff at pick up, reception and drop off all services were great. I would definitely recommend economy bookings in the future and also use again.

The staff at BARGAIN were incredibly helpful, especially when explaining that because I had booked through a ""third party"" (Economy Car Rentals) and although I had ticked their total insurance coverage package, I still had to leave a $500 Insurance deposit with BARGAIN itself. I did not discover this until I went to collect the car. (Buyer beware on that one!! Book DIRECT through the company!!) One, (perhaps humourous for some), incident was the discovery of a Chinese National drivers liscence in the glovebox with it| s accompanying English translation document. This had obviously been left behind by a previous hirer and no doubt will be sorely missed where ever they were heading next. (Sadly, I did not discover the items that were underneath the Drivers Manual until I returned the vehicle and emptied my bits and pieces from the glovebox, otherwise the documents might have had a fighting chance of going back to it| s owner.) Other than that, the car was presented in a clean and tidy condition with a comprehensive damage report (of which there was none) for the vehicle.

Bargain rentals refused to acknowledge the full insurance I paid to you. They said I had to take out another policy with them . Not happy about that . $20 PER DAY . NOT HAPPY very negative
Car was clean, comfortable, low kilometres, economical to operate and performed well both in town and on the highway.
Everything was positive except for not getting the car that was requested, the upgrade was appreciated.
