I was very please when I returned the car, there were somebody, Joseph, waiting to take care of everything. No delay at all. Joseph was very polite and competent. Thank you a lot for the no waiting time in taking or returning the car. Very well organize company.

First off, Dollar and Hertz are at the same counter in Winnipeg and are located in the airport, which is convenient. On arrival it was fairly simple to get the car (although the customer service rep was on the phone, he processed my reservation while talking to another customer - good multi-tasking!). The car was clean inside, had no mechanical issues, good tires, and was easy to park and drive. Front seats were heated, as was the steering wheel - a good car for a chilly week in Winnipeg in that regard. Gas mileage was also good, as 5 days of driving cost me about $42 in gas (at $1.36 a litre). Economy bookings was cheaper than just about anyone else I spoke with who had rented a car for the same period.
I appreciate the price and the easy location to the airport (right inside the terminal). Easy drop off as well.
We had to rush back from our brief break (holiday) because our Sister in Law had a stroke after her first cancer treatment. So we returned the car a day and a half earlier but we were not entitled to a credit from Dollar Rental and advised to contact your company. Which we understand will not give us a credit for at least one day or 24 hour period. When we did contact via email Economy bookings they requested a medical certificate. If the situation involved our health directly I could understand this request to a degree. But in this case it involved a relative, which is something that we will not do since it is a sensitive issue and in our opinion, something we are not going to bother her with at this time on her health journey. It just is not appropriate. We returned the car and the rental company can confirm this so they had use of it to rent out again for a full day and half. As such there should not be a question on their part or yours regarding issuing a credit. In our opinion it is just poor Corporate practice. So hence the poor rating and we will never use Economy bookings again or even recommend you to others. You need to apply a better credit practice regarding earlier returns such as was our case. We did not cheat you, because the car was returned early and in excellent shape with a full tank of gas, so what is the issue?
