Overall our experience was positive, however, the opening time of associated car rental office [Ace Rentals - Queenstown] was incorrect on Economy Booking voucher/information form which stated office hours closed at 8pm when office closed at 5pm. This incorrect information nearly caused us to be unable to pick up the car on the day it was booked as our flight arrived just before 5pm. We were grateful to the staff of the other airport based car rental companies who contacted Ace Rental car office which was located near the airport. Ace Rental staff were very helpful in arranging the release of our rental car given they had to stay back after 5pm to complete the arrangements. Please ensure the opening hours of the respective car rental agency is correct on the information form provided by Economy Booking in future.
Dealing with EZU Rentals was excellent. At short notice I had to delay our original rental by 24 hours and EZU were happy to keep the car of my choice waiting for me. I had some confusion at the pickup point at Queenstown Airport which could be clarified better eg in the waiting area to the right as you exit Gate D, but I was then looked after very well. All conditions were well defined on the contract and returning was prompt and very straight forward.
