Easy pick up and drop off. If paying with credit card make sure you’re using either Visa or Mastercard (no Amex) and they will hold $500 on top of the amount of your rental. But when you return the car the hold will be released immediately after they check the car.

Very easy pick up even though the shuttle took a wee while (25min). The vehicle we rented was in great condition and fit for purpose. We got a window chip and I felt the cost was reasonable.

Was exactly as advertised. Only thing I n on the second day the car remote battery died. Maybe regular battery rotation is needed. No one wants to get stuck not able to start a push to start car. Lucky for me I was parked close to a battery repair shop. EZU did reimburse the money I spent on the replacement. Other then that good value for price
Stay friendly and helpful, van exactly the size we needed. Shuttle driver went FAR out of his way to ensure we got to the rental place with our heaps of luggage, which took two separate shuttle trips. Very much appreciated!

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The car was very clean and well maintained. We had no issues at all with our rental or the service from Mode Rentals. Definitely sign up for the Full Coverage while renting in NZ. The roads and tiny bridges can be a bit tight. I would rent from Mode again!
