Picking up the car was very easy. The location of the car rental is in the airport parking P1, which you can get to from inside the airport by going up to the second floor after entering the airport lobby and then going left (south). Follow the signs. There are moving walkways that take you there. It was super quick and easy to get the car and we even got a free upgrade that we were not expecting. They asked us if we wanted extra insurance, but it wasn| t required and we did not get anything extra. They did not ask me for an international driving permit, even though I had read online that it was required to drive in Italy. All I had to show was my passport, US drivers license, and a credit card. Returning the car was super fast and easy. They checked the car very quickly for any damage and then let me go with no issues.

Upon arrive at Venice hospital to pick up the car, we had to wait a long time due circunstances outside of the rental car staff power, but a very extremely nice member of the staff was really good and due to a long wait they have offered a upgrade to our car. I would love to say thank you for that lovely lady.
