Was the first time in several years that my rental was the price it showed before arriving. So many times they sneak fees on or say I added something else.
The personal working at the counter were excellent. They helped us out with an upgrade and were very nice to work with.

Pickup was quick and easy, and the shuttle service was smooth on both ends. It was waiting when we landed, and after drop-off we only waited about 10 minutes to head back to the airport. No surprise fees, which I appreciated.
Thought this might| ve been a scam since price was much lower than actual company and my credit card was charged out of country, but everything went great. Fast, smooth and no issues getting car I wanted at better price.

Great price, but NOT a fan of post-purchase pressure to buy ""protection"", or insurance, after explicitly declining it during booking. Made me second guess my decision to book with this company. It worked out, but I didn| t need the additional stress.
If you understand the rules for cancellations, pickup and returns Economy bookings works well. This is a pre-paid service so the savings are great. But if you need flexibility, it is not your best choice.
The booking was easy, the price was great and the staff at Hertz in Punta Gorda was very helpful and professional.
